About Christian-oneness.org

Christian-oneness.org is an unincorporated, non-tax-exempt entity. It was once affiliated with Topeka Faith Center, a small church in Topeka, Kansas, but became involuntarily independent when that church closed.

We are presently seeking Christian leaders to serve on the board of Christian-oneness.org, to direct its overall mission and to provide accountability for its funds. If God delivers, we will expand and may incorporate as a nonprofit corporation and a mission including many active contributors and additional activities. If you are interested in serving, please contact us.

Contributions are gratefully accepted. However, contributions are solicited only on this page and through posting of PayPal "donate" buttons at the bottom of various pages of the supported web sites. If the Lord motivates donation, the funds will be used only for for upkeep of this web site and for its stated mission.

About Ian B. Johnson

Our Oneness in Christ by Ian Johnson and lauston Stephens I am the founder of Christian-oneness.org; my résumé is posted here. I am also a co-author of the book pictured at right. In the Body of Christ, I am primarily a teacher, and my specific calling is not limited to any single local congregation (although I am a member of one). Rather, my primary role involves calling individual believers in various congregations (and even in various countries) to live in conformity with the oneneness Christ died to create.

Although I have a law degree, I have never been admitted to the Bar in any jurisdiction. I have applied for admission as recently as 1991 and was rejected at that time. Conditions have changed substantially since then, as described on a page in my portfolio, and I have now applied for Kansas Bar Examination. My application is presntly pending, but not yet decided.

In the matter of personal finances, God has provided without donations from the web sites. In September, 2003, we made a committment to pay off our credit card debts, and God honored that commitment by providing generous gifts from members of our family and unexpected bonuses at work. Those debts have now been completely paid off, leaving only student loans and a mortgage. We are committed to paying those off, too. God will provide. None of our very small web site revenues (see the summary, below) have been used to pay any of our personal obligations. However, I challenge anyone who believes I should not maintain these web sites because I'm not adequately qualified to do so: if you want to complain about my qualifications, help me pay tuition for seminary!

I am seeking co-authors with duly recognized qualifications for three future books based on material in this website.

About Jonathan E. Brickman

I am a new co-owner of Christian-oneness.org. More about my purposes and priorities is available at joshuacorps.org. Christian-oneness.org was instrumental in my deliverance to Christ, and when Ian invited me to help, I eagerly agreed. I was baptized at Second Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas, in 1997, was on the board of the original Central Park Christian Church of Topeka and the leadership team of Hillside Community Church, and now attend with my sweet wife Lori at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church, being part of the third-service band and studying practical formal ministry with pastor David Watson.

About the Topeka Evangelistic Association

The Topeka Evangelistic Association is, as of the date of this writing, only a proposed organization. It has not yet come into existence. Its proposed mission statement is posted at the following link: Topeka Evangelistic Association mission statement. Right now, that mission statement is all that exists of the organization. If you are a Christian leader in Northeast Kansas and interested in serving on the Board and helping to establish this proposed organization, please contact me!

Note, however, that the proposed Topeka Evangelistic Association is NOT a church, is not intended to ever become a church, and is not intended to compete with any local church in Topeka for its members, their loyalty or their offerings. Its purpose is to facilitate the growth of the Kingdom of God in Topeka, and one element of this is growth in the local churches here, generally. But this will require united prayer and action, which will be hindered if my work is perceived by the pastors and churches here as competing with their work. Indeed, I am greatly encouraged to note that, since I first posted the proposal for the formation of the Topeka Evangelistic Association, a fairly large group of Topeka pastors have started to cooperate in periodically holding large, multi-church prayer and evangelistic meetings organized, not through my proposed organization, but through an informal organization of their own.

The PayPal Buttons

The two buttons below that say "Make a Contribution" are the PayPal buttons I've referred to throughout this disclosure. They are found, in a bar just like this, on nearly every page of these Christian-oneness.org web sites, except those written by others and those in the Topeka spiritual mapping site. Clicking on one of them will take you to a secure donation form at PayPal. Note that the PayPal button that's labeled "Make a Donation to Christian-Oneness.org" sends a notice to a different e-mail address than the button that's labeled "Make a Donation to the author personally." I account for and use donations to these two e-mail addresses separately. Donations made to Christian-oneness.org will be used only for web site expenses unless the donor designates another use.
