This list is presented to encourage readers to pray for all Topeka church congregations, not just those in their own denominational group. To that end, the congregations are divided into nine strictly geographical regions. "Central" Topeka is defined as the area enclosed by the box running from Sixth and Gage east to Adams, then south to 29th, west to Gage and back to the Sixth and Gage. The other 8 geographic areas are those north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west and northwest of these boundaries. Within each region, the congregations are listed in a deliberately randomized order, and information identifying a congregation's denominational group is not included unless it is an inseparable part of the organization's name (as listed in the telephone directory).
This page is not presented as a form of church advertising and is not intended as a guide from which persons seeeking a congregation may conveniently find a body in their own denomination. Please note that the congregations that are listed on this page have NOT asked to be listed here and have NOT necessarily in any way endorsed this page, the Topeka Spiritual Mapping initiative of which it is a part, or the Topeka Evangelistic Associationwith which it is also connected.
